National Hill Climb Championships Come to Porlock – Sunday 25 October 2026

The National Hill Climb Championships are coming to Exmoor.

On Sunday 25 October, some of the country’s best hill climbers will descend on Porlock to battle it out for the national titles on the Porlock Toll Road.

Hosted by Minehead Cycling Club, the 2026 National Hill Climb Championships will see riders take on one of Exmoor’s most spectacular cycling roads, with the closed-road Toll Road providing the setting for one of the biggest dates in the British hill climbing calendar.

It promises to be a fantastic day for riders and spectators alike. With the action unfolding on the climb, there will be plenty of opportunities to find a spot along the route and cheer on the competitors as they push themselves all the way to the finish.

The event is also a chance to showcase Porlock and Exmoor to cyclists from across the country and celebrate the fantastic riding we have here on our doorstep.
